Summary: Most things work, few things require external drivers.
This laptop is running Debian etch.
Hardware
Working
- Suspend to ram works with the uswsusp package in Debian, the command to run is: s2ram -f -p -s
Hopefully this will be integrated in later versions of uswsusp.
External Drivers
The wireless network is the RaLink? RT61, it has an open-source driver which is being worked on by volunteers. The driver to use is the CVS snapshot at http://rt2x00.serialmonkey.com/rt61-cvs-daily.tar.gz
Status Unknown
- Modem, I don't have any need for it, but I assume it's a soft-modem that is unlikely to work in Linux.
- Card Reader, no card to try with it.
Not working
- Temperature reading, the default reading is fixed on 75 degrees celsius. This is an issue with the BIOS and can be fixed by hacking the DSDT in Linux.
- Audio, It is detected but I have no sound.
- Lid open/close is not acted upon.
