DSDT for S420

The DSDT file that is attached to this page was obtained by merging DSDT code for S270 and S420 notebooks. The goal is to fix temperature reading (which otherwise gives a constant 75 degrees celcius).

Please check the instructions for your particular distribution on how to compile and install a custom DSDT. Also check the main dsdt repository on sourceforge.

This DSDT is reported to work, however in some cases it breaks other ACPI features, such as CPU scaling. Please post your experiences with this on the mailing list.
